Well, today when I got home from picking the kids up from school, I was walling in the house and heard the biggest noise! Dustin and Kristina turned around and said, what tha heck was that, I don't know!! Dustin came out to look, and it was the satilite!!! The BIG satilite!!! No wind or anything, it had just started to rain!!! We were so looking forward to watching Camp Rock2 and the dang satilite falls!!! Another expense to add to our list, but now we don't know when we'll get to watch TV again!!! We have to buy a whole new dish! It could have fallen right side up, but NO, it falls face down so you can imagine the damage!!!! Please pray that we do NOT let the spirit of Satan overtake our joy!!! Love you all!

Desperately seeking funds for a new generator!!!!
Just had the biggest scare of my life, our generator would not come on!!!!! As you know, we're trying to get another one that's bigger than the one we have now, so that it runs BOTH houses, well it didn't want to come on at all tonight!!! It's a heat factor issue here, as well as mosquitoes too! I don't know what we're gonna do if this continues!! Greg, after working on it for over an hour, was able to get it started!! I just hope that public power comes on soon, before the generator decides to shut off!
Please pray about how God would have you give toward helping us purchase another generator!!! In the heat, without fans at night to fight off the mosquitoes, Malaria is a very big issue!
Please continue to pray for our family here in Haiti as you end your night and start your mornings!!

Raising money and support!!
Well this is a title that is way out of my comfort zone!!
I've never be one that could just ask for money, unless it was my mom of coarse!!! But being in the missionary field, you have to do that ever so often, more often than not!!
Well this is the time that I do ask!!! If any of you have been here to experience Haiti, and stayed here with us, then you know the importance of electricity! There's another important factor here as well, survival! Since January 14, Greg and chris were here in the ground transporting patients form PaP to the hospital in Jimani for care. As they were in Crisis mode, they were struggling with sleepless nights and the strain of hurt and dying people, they were also trying to get a house suitable to live in as well!
At the time, they were thinking that the house was big enough for Greg and I to live in and use the other three rooms for a guest home! Well, as the Lord had other plans, the things that happened and the flood of people that followed, we needed a new house! The generator that was purchased for the main house, was plenty big enough to run everything we had! As we grew to having 2 houses, we discovered that the generator we had was far too small to run both houses!!!
This brings me to the reason for this plea.....we need to raise $6,000.00 pretty quick to purchase another generator, big enough to run the both houses without shutting down 4or5 times a night! As you have seen in the news, Hurricanne season has begun and this is something that is of high priority for us!!! I pray that as each of you are Reading this, you will look within yourself you help us in this desperate situation! Thank you in advance for every prayer that has gone up on our behalf!

I didn't want to title. Anything, today was a slow go! I just couldn't get motivated to do much of anything, seeing as I didn't get much sleep last night!
Well anyway, we went to the open house at school tonite and I was very pleased! We started out with prayer, introduction of teachers and staff, then off to meet the kids teachers!! Surprisingly, the kids love every one of them and the teachers love them too!!! I am sooo blessed, both kids love school and want to go, they have a good relationship with all their teachers!!
We are now watching the path of Earl, trying to figure out if he's coming our way or not!!! It's all good though, don't worry about us, we're inthe Lords hands and he will protect us!!!

Just another day....
Well....today seems so worthless, I hate days like this!!! I've washed, folded, and put away all the clothes. We ate hotdogs and mac n cheese, put Isaac in the bed for a nap and now I feel worthless!!! I need to work out, but just don't have the energy!!! Are you sure this is not a Monday??? We need some excitment here today!!!!

Just a little about my day!
Well, this morning Issac was so sweet! He couldn't decide if he wanted to sleep or play! He cuddled up with me for a while and then woke up in full force. Kristina and I got around this morning and started our day by working out. We did 2 different ones, and the 2nd one kicked our butt. We have doing this for a week now, with the exception of Sat. and Sun. We will look good in the end, it just hurts now. LOL
When we picked up the kids after school, Ashton asked if we felt the aftershock today, of coarse not, I was on my way to pick them up!!! Both the kids said they felt it and that some of the kids ran outside screaming. Well, the Lord is working in my kids, because if you know them, this is the thing that would have put them over the top!! Not even worried a bit, God is so good. Well I know some of you are wondering about school, they love it!!!!! They are making friends, and Dustin even wants to stay after school with some of his classmates to....do homework! Yes, doing homework!!!!! He loves his teachers and even wants to go to school. Talk about God moving, OMG!!!!!
We are so blessed to be here and be a part of God's plan!!!! We are still trying to raise money for the generator that we mentioned a few weeks ago. If you didn't hear, we are trying to raise 6,000.00 for a new generator for our house. The one we have now is just not big enough to run our house and the guest house. When we purchase the bigger one, this one will be used as a back up and during Hurricane season. If you would like to be a part of this purchase, let me know and I'll let you know where to send it!!!
